1. Red is my favourite colour.
2. I have four children.
3. Although I haven’t always, I love being a stay at home mom now.
4. I am a Christian.
5. I couldn’t spell to save my soul (well I can…I just did…but you know what I mean). 6. Men that are too ‘smooth’ do nothing for me.
7. My middle name is Dawn.
8. I am fairly low maintenance…but my husband may disagree.
9. I watch too much television.
10. I have never been able to do ‘chin-ups’.
11. Chocolate + almonds are one of my favourite combinations.
12. I hang my duvet out the window to air on nice days (like a good little European).
13. I have a bit of magpie in me (not literally) I love things that sparkle and shine.
14. I like winter, enjoy spring, love summer, but I adore autumn.
15. My house is clean but cluttered.
16. I wish my further education had gone further.
17. My great grandmother collected buffalo chips for fuel.
18. My children speak much better French than I do.
19. I love roller coaster rides!
20. I have lived in 20 different houses in 3 different countries.
21. I love pretty things.
22. I wish I could play the cello.
23. I want to learn how quilt.
24. My dream birthday present would be to ride in a hot air balloon (preferably on safari in Kenya).
25. I would rather be living in the South of France.
26. I wish I could remember all the adorable and amusing things my kids have ever said.
27. Sometimes, I wish I were five again.
28. I love the smell of rain after a long hot dry spell.
29. If a man wants to take out the trash for me, open my door for me, fill my gas tank for me or buy me roses, I really don’t mind at all. (This is not an all inclusive list)
30. My hand writing starts our neat and legible then becomes very, very messy.
31. I can play the guitar (kinda) and kinda carry a tune.
32. I enjoy swimming.
33. I’ve got this thing for sandals…
34. I’ve always hated going to bed at night…but I love to sleep.
35. I inevitably drop food on my clothing when I eat...My friends accept and love me, but they rarely take me to posh restaurants.
36. I am married to a silver haired, tattooed, blue eyed Scotsman…the most interesting man I’ve ever known.
37. I prefer having long finger nails…this is possibly the ‘fussiest’ thing about my personal appearance.
38. I am an American, living in Belgium but I have a Scottish accent…go figure.
39. I have a deeply entrenched desire to be independently wealthy!
40. I am a tactile creature.
41. I like other people’s pets, but dread the day when my children have their own!
42. I don’t like the way dangly earrings look on me.
43. I like to write with a pink pen.
44. I buy Christmas cards every year, but almost never send them…I do this with postcards too.
45. I was home schooled through high school and hated it!
46. I think my mother was a better mother than I am.
47. I really like who I am, but find myself wishing I were other people quite often.
48. I adore ice cream.
49. I love Christmas time, and although I miss spending it at my mothers, I am getting pretty good at ‘making’ Christmas for my family.
50. I love all things cherry.
51. I ‘get’ sarcasm.
52. I know the difference between passion and romance…and I am ‘into’ both of them.
53. If there is Bailey’s in the house…I drink it!!
54. I shock myself sometimes by ‘the Rage’ that can raise its ugly head in me.
55. ‘The Rage’ comes most often when I think that there are people in the world that hurt children or when it’s *that* time of month.
56. I almost never take an immediate dislike to someone.
57. I am a middle child.
58. I hate ‘change’ but I can embrace it when it comes.
59. I have managed to develop a “well it’s your loss” attitude if people don’t like me. 60. I feel I invest a lot into my friendships.
61. My parents were *not* high when they named me, nor were they every hippies.
62. I am almost 5’6” and I need to lose weight (and I didn’t want to put that one on my list!)
63. I don’t ‘do’ slimy!
64. I hate myself after I shout at my children.
65. My great-great grandparents were German speaking settlers in America.
66. I am frightened of mice…and more so of rats!
67. I am persistent…to the point of unrelenting (and I often get my own way – this is a good and bad thing)
68. I hate to be wrong.
69. I am a very good at delegating…and don’t mind taking charge in a given situation.
70. I have been known to be a little stubborn too…
71. I love to write cheques for large amounts of money… (he he he)
72. I like to talk on the phone…I love to talk on my GSM.
73. You know how old people have big ears? Well; I think mine are already starting to grow!! No really!!!
74. I am always very happy when school is out for the summer, but I am equally as happy when it is time to resume again in the autumn.
75. I think I am a fairly transparent person.
76. I wish I were more self-disciplined and had more will power.
77. When I admire people, I unashamedly try to emulate the aspects of their character that I like.
78. I fear I am not the most articulate person around.
79. I would probably have some type of corrective surgery on my body if I could get over the ‘mental hurdle’ that it’s got to be one of the most outrageous expressions of vanity there is!
80. Oh, did I say I was opinionated?
81. If I didn’t were glasses, I would get my nose pierced and wear a tiny diamond stud in it.
82. I would also probably get my bellybutton pierced if my tummy didn’t look like I have carried four 9lb + babies inside it!!
83. Oh! I loved giving birth! (Although I never had an epidural, I used all other forms of pain relief going!)
84. I loved breastfeeding!
85. Hey! I loved ‘getting’ pregnant too!
86. If it were possible to go back in time and change whatever you wanted to about your life, I would change very few things…But I would change some.
87. I am a watcher of lightning.
88. Once I get everything set up, I actually enjoy ironing!
89. Dusting is my least favourite chore!
90. Putting folded laundry away is my second least favourite chore.
91. I have very vivid dreams and if I remember to remember them while in the shower, I can remember them for most of the day.
92. Remember that ‘thing’ I have for sandals? Well, I have a similar thing for necklaces and handbags!
93. I love to cook with garlic.
94. There are few things in this world that I would rather do than hold one of my new born babies…*sigh.
95. I love to watch a fire burn. Candle, fireplaces, campfires…
96. It bugs me when people leave their DNA behind in the sink, shower, bath or toilet.
97. I suffer from hay fever. But am otherwise very strong and healthy.
98. IMO coffee just tastes better in some cups than others.
99. I am no great film critic…I enjoy most movies for the entertainment value they provide…granted, some *are* better than others.
100. My taste in music is quite eclectic, and I am normally happy for someone else to choose what we’re listening to.
