i'm sitting here half watching the the golden globes. its supposed to be the BIG award show that pretty much covers everything from movies to television. big whoop.
i dunno if its because i'm getting older or what, but i haven't seen like half the shows they're talking about. forget about movies, i have a 5 year old and a 2 year old ... you think i see movies in the theater? wrong.
anyway, who is the hollywood foreign press? what do they do? how did they start the golden globes? why is it such a big deal? these are the questions that drive me crazy. well, not so much crazy as ... slightly crazier. 
ooh ooh, one more thing ... you know what chaps my hide about these shows? when they give an award for a television series, they include shows on hbo and other pay channels. that's not right. who watches these shows? what's up with that?
fack, i can't pick a winner to save my life either. they show the nominees just before the award and i say "it'll be that shmuck ... or that one. any shmuck but that one there." sure enough, its that one there. why oh why do i watch these shows?
oh well, don't mind me. i'm going to start up the sims and just forget about it. plus, you'll have amber back tomorrow ... so you won't have to deal with me anymore. well, unless you come by my site and say hi. which i would appreciate. well, you can say more than "hi" ... you can even comment if you want to. you know ... if you're so inclined.
ooh ooh, renee zellwegger just won ... somebody from a movie and/or tv show that i've actually seen. holy crap ... that rocks!
